Investment made June 1998. Other investors included Gemini Israel Funds, Advent International, JL Albright and Sofinov. Investment originally made in Balisoft Technologies, Inc. In February 1999 Balisoft Technologies merged with ServiceSoft Corporation to form Servicesoft Technologies Inc. In December 2000 Servicesoft was acquired by Broadbase Software, which later merged with KANA Software Inc. (OTCBB: KANA.PK).

Peninsula Financial Limited was established in 2005 as Israel’s first independent factoring company. Founded by Micah Avni, a venture partner at venture capital firm Jerusalem Global Ventures, Peninsula’s aim is to become Israel’s leading non-bank commercial finance company. LEAP Capital acted as financial advisor to Peninsula, and acted as agent in raising some of the equity financing in the formation of the company.
Investment made February 2005. Other investors in Peninsula included DE Shaw & Co., Rosenthal & Rosenthal Inc., Dovrat & Co., and Goldman Investments.
